Jack P. F. Gremillion papers, 1954-1971.

This collection consists primarily of photocopies and carbon copies of the typed text of speeches made to meetings of civic organizations around Louisiana, by Jack P. F. Gremillion during his political career. Included also is a reel of microfilm titled, "Jack Gremillion scrapbook collection," as well as a 1966 printed document titled, "A primer on the tidelands controversy and Louisiana's experience in the dispute, by Jack P. F. Gremillion, Attorney General, State of Louisiana."

Jack Paul Faustin Gremillion earned a law degree from LSU and served with the infantry in Europe during World War II. He was highly active in Louisiana politics, particularly with the Long faction, and served as Attorney General of Louisiana between 1956 and 1972.
